When will the download be available?

Your serial number will be available within 5 minutes to 24 hours. Most of the time, it's a few hours at most. Due to excessive fraud (who knew there were so many screenwriters in Bulgaria), we have to get authorization from our bank before we can send you a Final Draft download serial number.

If the billing address on your credit card does not EXACTLY match the billing address on your order from us, it will delay your order.

How will this download purchase work?

After you place your order, our bank will authorize and charge your card. Once we're given the okay from our bank, we will automatically send you a serial number by e-mail.

How do I install the Final Draft download?

You can go to www.finaldraft.com and download the demo. In fact, you can start writing with the demo right away. When we send you the serial number, you can "unlock" the demo and all its features. It will be yours forever.

How many times can I download Final Draft?

You can enter the same serial number twice on two different computers. You can always remove the activation on one computer to activate a new one.

Is there a return policy?

You can return Final Draft within 30 days of your purchse for a full refund. You must deactivate all copies of Final Draft that you've installed. We highly recommend you download the Final Draft demo first to make sure it works on your computer.

What if I sell a computer or one crashes?

Two different answers. If you get rid of your computer, you should "give back" a serial number to Final Draft before you sell or give away your computer. You can do this all through finaldraft.com. Then they will give you another serial number to use. If your computer crashes (or is stolen or lost), you should call or e-mail Final Draft immediately. In most cases, they will give you another authorized serial number to install.
