If your information was correct, your credit card company should have instantly sent us an authorization. You will then receive an e-mail from us with your Final Draft customer number.

Please Note: If you entered a billing address or zip code that does not exactly match what your card company has on file, our system may not send you the serial number. We will contact you via e-mail to continue with your order.

If you don't receive an e-mail with your Final Draft customer number within 30 minutes of ordering Final Draft, please e-mail us at info@screenstyle.com or call us at 888-627-8812. Send us your order number and name and we'll solve the problem for you.

How to Download Final Draft

You will download a file that is approximately 30MB. If you have high-speed internet this should take no more than 5-10 minutes. The file will be a DMG (Mac) file or a Zip (PC) file. Your computer should be able to read these files without any problem. If not, then please e-mail us and we'll try to assist you.

Download and Install Final Draft

After you have downloaded the install file, then you should click it (or double-click it) in order to install the program. Please do not just click (or double-click) this file over and over. You will just be reinstalling Final Draft repeatedly. Instead, look for the Final Draft icon in your Programs (PC) or Applications (Mac) folder. You will have successfully installed Final Draft.

Please Note:Final Draft will prompt you in a text box for your customer number. Your customer number should start with 8FD (for Final Draft 8) or AV2 (for Final Draft AV) and is unique to you. Once you enter this customer number then a little "Continue" button should appear. Press it.

Final Draft Activation

After you install Final Draft with your customer number, you must activate it with Final Draft either online or over the telephone. Final Draft will prompt you to activate the program. You can activate Final Draft on two computers at any one time.

Alternatively, you can go to www.finaldraft.com and search for the trial version of the Final Draft. The files are the exact same as the ones we refer to above. Download and install this trial version. Enter your customer number to turn the trial version into a fully working version of Final Draft.
