ScreenStyle is a screenwriting software program that turns Microsoft Word into a basic screenplay formatter. ScreenStyle software has been used by over 200,000 screenwriters over the past 15 years. You must have Microsoft Word or Office for PC or Mac. ScreenStyle will not work on any other program.

It doesn't. ScreenStyle is a basic, low-budget program designed for beginning screenwriters. There are no fancy outlining features, you can't save your script as a PDF, and you can't do a complete script breakdown. If Final Draft is a Mercedes and Movie Magic Screenwriter is a BMW, then ScreenStyle is the used station wagon my father bought me in high school. And like he said, "Don't complain. Can I e-mail my script to someone that doesn't have ScreenStyle?
Yes. If that person has Final Draft or Movie Magic Screenwriter, they can easily open your script written in ScreenStyle. If they have Microsoft Word, they can also read your script correctly. What else should I know about ScreenStyle? ScreenStyle is a template for Microsoft Word. It is not an executable program. If you've changed the location of your template directory, then you'll have to manually install ScreenStyle and the auto-installer won't work. Instructions are included in the ScreenStyle manual.
