I had a number of questions regarding the software packages, i.e., keystrokes, comparisons with related programs, limitations of each program and features provided by updated versions. I wanted some immediate feedback before I wanted to place an order. Screenstlyes customer service was superlative. Screenstyle responded to my email request with a telephone call. Their representative not only answered my questions but was also knowledgeable about specific features and the operation of the software. They were able to make suggestions that improved my purchase value (by saving me money) and followed up with an e-mail confirmation. My software arrived before promised. --I was very impressed with how Screenstyle handled my order. I was taken by surprise to see it was delivered professionally via Fedex. Many other orders took longer and were delivered through normal mail. By Screenstyle taking care of my order with great professionalism showed me that they care about their customers. --There were some unsual circumstances that arose as I was purchasing from Australia. I asked Jow Melford if I could (a) exchange the DVD offer for something else. As it is a promotional thing, he wasn't able to - which I could understand. Then I asked him if we could get the package to me sooner, as I need the program I bought ASAP. He arranged for it to be done via FedEx. He offered to pay a fair percentage of the difference, which was very kind. When he found out that the subscription was going to cost more to be shipped to Australia, we 'shared' the cost... ie, he offered to pay more. Then Customs returned the package, and he let me know about it, which was quite funny, and paid to have it sent on again. All in all, I believe that he was wonderful, kind and considerate. I think him, and you all, for the service and opportunities you are providing for writers. Keep up the excellent work and service. I will be back. Thanks, DA

--What wonderful people. I did NOT quite understand the "FREE" offer for $40.00 or more spent and they credited my account. So honest and highly ethical. I would never find anyone like them at a merchant store.

And here is some not so great feedback and what we did to try to keep this customer.

--I had no problem ordering and I really liked the website. The item I ordered was also terrific. Unfortunately, I needed it in a timely manner and paid extra (though not much, perhaps I should have been wary) to have 2-3 day delivery, but did not recieve the shipment for nearly a week (ordered Friday evening, recieved Thursday afternoon). I missed a deadline because I didn't have the software I ordered when I needed it. It was a real problem. I've never ordered on-line before and will now be reluctant to do so, unless perhaps it's an item that I won't within any kind of timeframe. Too bad--I was actually kind of excited about the concept and the time it would save me. Thanks for your interest. Kathy We refunded the customer's entire shipping charges and made it clearer on our website that Saturday and Sunday DO NOT COUNT as shipping days.

--It was a good transaction. My only concern is that the terms of the transaction weren't more clearly spelled out up front before I purchased the product. I wish that the merchant had told me that the extras that came along with purchasing the program had to be downloaded independently. I thought I read everything thoroughly and came away with the impression that I would receive the extras with my order in the mail. Once I understood the terms, I was able to download the extras with no problems but it would've been nice to know that up front since the bundle was one of the main reason I went with this vendor (at a higher price than its competitors). Other than that, I was very satisfied with the transaction. While it costs us a little more we put most of our free bonus items on CDs that are shipped with your order. You don't have to worry about losing a link or moving your files to a new computer.
